To plan and develop our people element to complement our growth, we are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and ensure the successful launch and ongoing operation of our new western Mediterranean cuisine restaurant – MIGAS (managed by Elite Concepts).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day restaurant operations to achieve excellence in service, quality, and profitability;
- Interact with guests in a warm and friendly manner to offer exceptional dining experience and handle guests' enquiries and complaints;
- Monitor customer feedback and address concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels;
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction;
- Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control;
- Oversee marketing and promotional efforts to attract and retain customers;
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness in accordance with brand and health regulations;
- Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure a motivated and skilled team;
- Foster a positive and welcoming environment that encourages teamwork and staff retention;
- Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners;
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, including health and safety standards;
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5-8 years’ proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or Operation Manager in the Food & Beverage industry, preferably in a Mediterranean or similar cuisine restaurant;
- Passion for Mediterranean cuisine and a desire to promote authentic flavors;
- Customer-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong leadership and team management skills;
- Self-motivated, energetic, hardworking, with strong sense of business acumen;
- Solid understanding of financial management and operational metrics;
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards;
