of two traditional joglo houses, incorporating the best of Javanese
and Balinese architecture. The two pavilions have a total of
four bedrooms, which can accommodate up to eight guests in genteel
comfort. Like Ubud, which is famous for its leisurely pace, Puri
Tupai has a relaxed atmosphere, which enhances one's inner serenity. |

Puri Tupai. Swim laps in the 25-meter pool, or play Wimbledon-style

| A WEALTH OF CULTURE |
| As a guest at Puri Tupai, you are in
an enviable location, amidst peaceful surroundings yet close to
the many cultural offerings of Ubud, which has been for centuries
Bali's fine art capital. Located just 10km south of Ubud in the
neighboring village of Lod Tunduh, Puri Tupai is within easy reach
of Ubud's cultural treasures including the legendary Monkey Forest,
as well as its craft houses, and cafes. Indulge an impulse to see
the kecak dance, shop for batiks, or sample the many culinary riches
of the remarkable village. |
